
Market activity picked up the second week of 2026. New Listings came close to doubling, with 147 properties hitting the market on the week ending 1/14 (stats are pulled Wednesday each week for the proceeding 7 days to capture weekend activity). Pending sales county wide also jumped from 106 the first week of the year to 148.
The market typically will gradually grow from the start of the year into the spring selling season. As I talk with agents, there is a general optimism for 2026 with many agents reporting an increase in calls for potential listings and buyers in the first half of 2026.
